Currently have a helfrichi firefish thats been in there by himself for about three months. I know my tank might be a bit small for the flame but ive seen people keep them in smaller tanks. This is gonna be a reef aswell and im planning on getting a pair of black ice clownfish as my last fish.

tank is much too small for a flame angel. just because you've seen it done doesn't mean it's a good thing to do. plus, if you want corals and/or clams, angels will nip at both.

i have a mccosker's in a 75g and he is all over the place, no particular territory. and he swims all. day. long. not sure a 34g tank would be big enough for such an active fish.

if you go to liveaquaria.com, you can get pretty much any information you need on the particular needs of marine fish. check out the nano fish section, lots of ideas there.

A good general rule for Flasher Wrasses is a 3' tank minimum. I think it is too small as well. I would look into Possum Wrasses (Wetmorella) or Pseudocheilinops ataenia

If you have to get an angel (I don't think you should) go with a flameback or pygmy. They are very small
