I did too, it was during a discussion on the C.argi that he brought up the ciliates, and shortly after we heard about the success in Hawaii. I still think it is worth pursuing. THe Flame is my all round Centropyge favorite but I also like the argi and lemon peel, with the coral beauty close behind.

A lot of homework to do first, along with getting a system up and some tanks seeded. First things first.

Ditto that, not only Centropyge but all marine fish. I want to see them all captive bred.

Has any hobbyist successfully bred a Flame Angel?

I dont know, but I sure want to try !Hopefully will be setting up the tank this spring, a 75. It will have some Mandarins by fall too.
