Flame angel: small or medium are better shippers?

I'm looking to order a flame angel from LA. I didn't know whether larger specimens shipped and/or acclimated better than small ones. If there's not much difference I'll save $5 and get the small. Thanks.

Flames ship the same no matter what size. Me personally I like small fish so I can watch them grow. I have a female Bellus the size of a quarter and love her. There are only a few angels that don't ship well and most of those are the males of the species

Flames tend to ship well. The only advantage to a larger fish is that sometimes they have more energy reserves than a tiny one does.

and hopefully the smaller fish doesnt have as much waste as the large fish (assuming the same volume of water in the bag, of course)

Great to hear. I think I'll save the $5 and enjoy watching the smaller one grow.
