Flame search

Anyone see any good flame BTA or even a lemondrop, not sure if the summer is a slow ship/collection time. Have a good memorial day, shout out to all that they layed it down for liberty

I saw that, little pricey for not showing a WYSIWG photo. Not sure on the variability in the colors to be considered a flame tip.

I have one...like it a lot. Not from Reef Hot spot. Got mine from Aquarium in Motion. Dr. Macs had flame tips a week ago, but they wanted $299 each.

Yes the ones from JC are the TRUE Flames..But the ones from RHS are just as nice and have just as good color. If you ask the workers as RHS Im sure they can get you a WYSIWYG photo!

I sent them a request for a photo, never seen one in person, most photos show they are very bubbley with long nipple. Hoping for something diff than a rose.

Hi Clowns,

What is considered a true flame? The photo at JC looks more like a RBTA.

Thanks

Hi,
Well I cant say there is really a "true definition" for a Flame BTA.What most people consider to be a "true" Flame is a RBTA with BRIGHT Yellow or Orange tips. There is also the "true" Flame BTA that has the Green/Red/Orange/etc. colors.More like the one from JC.The coloration for a so called "true" Flame RBTA is one with many colors on the tips and through out the body.

phender has(or did have)the "rare" morph of this anemone.Mabey he can give a better definition than I can.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I came across a flame bta at a LFS (Phishy Business) recently
