Flame Wrasse in a 55????

Is a standard 48 X 13 X 20 55 gallon enough to keep a flame wrasse happy? Been looking at some of the vendors and the recommened minimum req. They range form 30-90 gallons.....

In my opinion, it is not sufficient. Also, be aware that males are difficult shippers.

Thanks. Yeah I was reading that the males are difficult to ship..... Very pretty fish though, really like these guys.

If you do give them a try order 2 females and in no time one of them will turn male.

+1. that's what i did on mine and now i have a pretty pair. housed on a 90g with 30g sump.

Thanks for the responses. A pair would be real nice but I think that the tank may be too much for a 55.... If I do will probably just get one female and let nature take it's course. They seem to be very active fish, so I am kinda worried about having enough space.
