The LFS has a flasher wrasse which i would like to purchase, however my reef tank already contains a green corris wrasse. The green corris is smaller than the flasher at the store. I've heard that corris wrasse can be known to pick on other species of wrasse. My question is would the green corris pick on the bigger flasher? or vise-versa? Any suggestions are appreciated. :fish1:

In general they are fine both are fairly passive and are only know to fight with other males of there own kind. But as always each fish is different you may have a mean coris or get a snot flasher.

I have kept many coris and fairly/flashers with no serious issues. my taks have always been a bit larger but a 55g is prolly fine.

I would think you'd have no problems. I have a male bluehead thalassoma wrasse, an african cleaner wrasse, and a supermale melanurus wrasse in my 5 foot 187 gallon and they get along just fine.
