Flasher Wrasse ID

Wonder if someone could help me out with a ID. Picked this guy up the other day and he was out swimming around and eatting on the first day. He was just listed as "flasher Wrasse" at the LFS. Sorry this is the best pictures I could get of him. His color is more pink/maroon with purple strips and fins then the picture could capture.

I will admit, its colors look like a McCoskers but it does look like he's got a few long spiked fins like the Carpenters Wrasse. He doesn't flash much so its hard to be sure how many

Bradleyj,
Wow great picture I wish I could get a pic of mine like that but those were as good as I could get on my smart phone. I also think we might have a winner, mine looks just like your picture and the color is spot on. I have had mine about a week now and I love him. Out swimming and eatting since the first day.
I would like to find him a one or two females to promote him to flash but as I understand female flashers can be hard to find. When I bought this one the LFS had about 6-7 more in the same tank. A few were smaller but they were almost as colorful and I wasn't sure if they were female or already changing to males so I do not want to risk it. Does anyone know if any female flasher wrasse would work or would a female Carpenters or McCoskers for example just transition to a male and cause problems?
