I have two male Flasher wrasses that have always gotten along. Yesterday I noticed the larger one chasing the smaller one a little more than usual. Today I woke up to find the bigger wrasse hiding under a rock. His fins are up, he's alert, comes out a bit to feed, but runs scared when he sees the little wrasse. I don't see any wounds or torn fins and the little wrasse does not pursue the big guy. But the little one has pumped his colors and is swimming around much more than usual.
Question is: will they work out the pecking order? It's a 120 gallon. The other inhabitants are a Blue Green Chromis, a Yellow Coris and a mated pair of Oscillaris. There is a baby (1 1/2") Blackcap Basslet due to come out of QT today.
