flatworm exit safe on clams for a dip?

I got some clams today and there are some things in there that sure look like flat worms or at least some planarian plague - they are one to two mm long and rectangular - they are black in color - they are not moving at this point but may be stunned from shipping - I don't have the FWE and would have to order it so they would have to stay in a quarantine tank for now

I did post a question there but noone is in the forum so I thought that I might get better response here

i know people have used it on there full reef with clams without problems but what i don't know is how the clam would react using it as a dip or how effective it would be on the flat worms. i think a 5 min fresh water dip would kill the worms but IMO that's undue stress on the clam, especially since it new and still recovering from the stress of shipping and tank changes ect.
