I am trying to find a good way to get rid of my flatworm infestation. I was going to try flatworm exit, but its in a 2.5 nano. From my research, whe they died, so would everything else. Are there any other good ways to kill them. I am thinking of buying the smallest six line I can find, and putting him in there 2 days, then moving him to my 50g.(getting one anyways for the 50) but just thought I'd see if I could get any more options to get rid of these things, they are annoying. The water change way works, problem is I only change .5 gallons or so at a time....

Six Lines are 50/50 I hear. I'd try FWE.........if you can siphon out A good number of them first. Any way you can get carbon running in there? Canister filter or HOB or something.

I'm affraid you'll have to resort to FWE, and as long as you can siphon out a bunch and do your waterchanges relatively quick then it may work.

Even if you do the waterchanges faster than recommended you may just have to do multiple doses.

Dose, do water changes relatively faster than recommended, then repeat in a week so that they don't multiply to an enormous amount.

You can try a velvet nudibranch too. They eat flatworms. But they are also very toxic and can kill what's in a tank that size when they die. If you try it, have it eat the flatworms then trade it back into the store for credit. Last I knew, Gateway Aquatics had some.

The thing with velvets is, how do you know it ate them all? What if you take it out too soon?

Wait that gives me an idea. Get the velvet, let him eat until you don't see any flatworms, then return the velvet. After taht come home and dose FWE and do your water change.......there shouldn't be too many flatworms left after the nudi was in there!
