flatworms on soft corals?

I have some clear or slightly white flatworms on some softies in my soft tank. They are on shrooms, leathers etc and I haven't noticed them harming anything. I can swish the coral around and they fall right off.

Anyone have these before?

i purchased a zoa colony that had 3 red mushrooms on it. the mushrooms had flat worms all over them and they actually seemed to be eating the shrooms... they were shrivled right up and i could even see some of their guts hanging out in some places. i dosed flatworm exit and syphoned out all the flatworms i could see. the mushrooms came back to the size of a silver dollar in a few days. so i would say that there definitly are flatworms that eat soft corals. they didnt bother the zoas though... only the red mushrooms.

flatworm exit works great ...... but I don't think they ever really go away. i have a six line wrasse that suppose to eat them but I never see him touch them

ive got flat worms on my purple shrooms but not on the red shrooms,they dont seem to bother anything. i siphon them out while i do a water change.

according to the flatworm exit directions, if you still have flatworms after their recommended dosage, you probably have a type of flatworm that is more resistant to the flatworm exit. They recommended putting some of the flatworms in 1 gallon of tank water and add a drop and observe, and add a drop and observe until you see them dying. that way you will know exactly how many drops per gallon are needed to kill them. i had no adverse affects from the treatment. corals didnt even close when i dosed it and featherdusters and other worms in the tank didnt seem to be affected either.

I have never had a problem with it hurting corals great stuff.
