Flatworms

When I set this tank up in October, I added something that had flatworms, no biggey right. Well dosed normal, got rid of a lot but not all, dosed again and again but could not get rid of them. I have used FW Exit before and usualy 2 doses and they are gone, not these.

I kept doseing a 80 water volume at 300 gal dose, had to take snails out, as they get unhappy with FWE at anything above normal dose. I dosed again yesterday at 300 gal and today I can't find any FW, hope I got them all. I'm gonna wait a few days and then start doing WC to get the tank cleaned up

If you do a freshwater dip it gets rid of them everytime :)

I had a 125 full of FW, when I switched eveything to the 300 I dipped all rock and corals in freshwater, I never spotted one FW after. I have done this on other tanks as well.

How long do you keep them in fresh? Does it freak out your corals?

I adjust the PH of the fresh to same as salt.

1st dip (fresh) Is 10 seconds
2nd dip (Salt) Is 10 seconds

The second dip is just catch any free floaters, I shake the rocks very well in each dip. You can watch the F.W. just fall off in the fresh water :) I have done this with lps and softy's, I have never tried SPS. Frogspawn get P.O'ed for a few day's but I have never lost one.
