Flex PVC cement

Anyone know where to get cement for flexible pvc locally??

I am hoping to do a lot of plumbing this weekend, but I forgot to order it along with everything else from Savko. And it can't be sent overnight because it is considered a hazardous material.

i don't know where to find it, but don't even bother trying to use the regular stuff. It doesn't work.

I used regular pvc primer and glue for all my flex pvc. It works great for me and a few of my buddys.

I use regular glue and primer as well, and have had no problems.

I just use the Oatey all purpose cement... never have a problem.

Did some additional reading. Seems like the standard all purpose cement gets mixed reviews. Some people have had horrible times trying to get it to seal, some people have had great success. Knowing my luck, I will be one of those who has a bad time.

Did a google search and came across a plumbing help page that recommended looking for the flex pvc glue at a pool and spa store. That makes sense, duh. Luckily for me, there is one right down the street from where I work which carries Weld-On PVC cements (Weld-On 795 for flex pvc). So, even if its not necessary, I will pick some up tomorrow!

Interesting you found some mixed reviews about that cement.... I wonder if it is the user and not the product in all cases. Good luck!

HAHA, I am sure the user has a lot to do with it in some cases.
