Flex PVC / Spaflex

Anyone know of any local stores that carry spaflex or flex pvc?

I've had much better luck with Lowes than Home Depot. Same with unions - Lowes had them in all sizes, HD had none and no places on the shelves for them either.

I have a megaflow overflow kit so I guess I'm going to need 1 inch and 3/4 inch.

You may only find 1.5" there. I had ordered from Savako Plastic Pipe and Fittings

The pricing and shipping seemed reasonable. They also have the correct PVC cement for the flex tubing. (scroll down to find weldon 795)

I plumbed my entire system with 1.5" and just tapered down at the inlets/ outlets of the overflow boxes.

Is it safe to say that I can order the flex tubing and pvc cement from Savako and I should be able to pick up everything else I need at Lowes/Home Depot?

I bought some at a pool / hot tub dealer on route 44 in Coventry. Is says right on it to use PVC solvent and cement (available anywhere). I believe that most pool places stock it in 1 1/2" and 2". If you're going to bend it a lot and glue it to regular schedule 40 PVC it is better to glue the fitting straight on the flex tubing first, then bend it and glue to the other pipe. Otherwise you don't get a good glue joint if the flex tubing comes out of the fitting at an angle.

I ended up ordering from Savako, thanks for the tip about the gluing the joints
