Flex Seal for stand interior?

I have a new stand for a buld I plan to do later in the year. The stand builder did a good job, caulked the interior corners and painted the inside white. I want to paint it gray to better match my custom sump/equipment colors and found this product that seals/rubberizes all surfaces and is already gray in color. Any user experiences with the product?

Sure you can use it.. It works fine..
Just a few coats of regular paint is sufficient though IMO..

It'll work fine but you might want to cost compare with plastidip and the Rust-Oleum version. I used it on my stand for the water storage, just give it a few days to really dry.

For a stand interior, why not get an oil based paint and call it done. Oil based paints are extremely tough. Cheaper too.

It depends on what you expect the inside of your stand to experience.

I expect floods, sprays, salt creep and a hostile wet environment similar to the outside deck of a fishing boat...

So two part epoxy is recommended. If not available, rubber (flex seal) is ok. If that's not available, use a water-based epoxy paint.

The paint I decided to use is from Sherwin Williams. It's called Pro Industrial Pre-Catalyzed Water-based Epoxy K46-150 Series. It's intended for industrial kitchens, hospital, schools. It's not a 2 part epoxy.

If I could go back and do it over, I'd go for the flexseal. It didn't exist back then.

Let us know how it works out.

My thought with the flex seal was I bought an expensive custom stand, the guy really did great building it. My intention is to have it for the next 10 years if possible(hoping at least).
Flex seal caught my attention as I want the inside of the stand to "hold water" like a tank if a flood happened, never leaking water into its corners/insides(Im exaggerating lol)

A friend has an old stand that clearilly had water go in its joints through the years and the thought of rotting wood and warping pannels is beyond my worst nightmares. His tank is doing amazing after 6 years, but he is considering emptying it to replace the stand which is at this point unrealiable.

Since I have time with this build, thought of the option to even overdo in that department so water damage never is in the cards... I would consider coating even all screws on the rear/outsides of the frame so no rust, humidity, ever gets to it. Thanks again for the opinions everyone
