Float Valve???

I just set up my ro/di unit and the float valve has a metal screw and wing nut. The water comes out of the float valve and travels over the metal screw and nut. Over time will this be contaminating my filtered water going into my storage container? Thanks Chris

Depends if it's good stainless steel. Anything else you will have problems with.
