Has anyone ever put their tank (75G) or larger on laminate floor or a fold and lock hardwood floor?_ We chose to install the Bruce fold and lock engineered oak flooring in my office where my tank is, like a laminate it does not use nails or glue, sits on a very thin (1/8" or less) pad and folds and locks together._ It feels very sturdy just wondering if anyone has used such thing

Should work fine. I have never put a tank on laminate flooring but I do not see any reason why it would not be ok.

I have a 210 gallon tank on laminate flooring without any problem. I am currently looking at getting a 340 gallon and putting it on the same laminate floor. I have spilled some water and haven't had any problem, just make sure to wipe it up in a timely manner.

It depends on the type of laminate. I had some armstrong fiberglass laminate and it got wet a few times no problem at all. the type that is in my new house is not as durable.

Mine was a major spill. Back when my tank was freshwater I forgot my python filling my tank from the faucet. Probably 30 gallons on the floor. Wife was VERY mad at me. Went back to normal after 6 months or so. I had just put the flooring down 2 months prior. I was quite frustrated.

That's not a spill that's a FLOOD. :D

That's all good to know. I have engineered hardwood floors which are 3/8" thick and fold and lock like laminate but are solid wood nothing composite or pressed like laminate. I was more worried about the joints holding together than I was the moisture. This is the first floating floor we have had and were not used to it.
