Flow in a QT tank.

How much flow should I put into a 40 breeder that im going to use as a QT tank. I will be rinning a sponge filter and a sheep hang on filter. Should I add more flow?

It's probably ok if you're not keeping too many fish in there. Personally I'd add a small powehead for surface ripple to promote a little more gas exchange.

I also keep a maxi jet 1200 in my QT. Since the flow in the display is pretty heavy, I like to keep a good amount of flow in the QT.

Ok. I was just thinking to keep things moving around and kepping the fish poop moving in the water to be filtered out.

i run a wally world sheep hang on. sometimes use an old wood airstone.
