I was wondering what kind of flow everyone has in their refugium?

Hiep, how you doing bud, I was checking out your web site but it wasnt there anymore what happen ?
Anyway, in the fuge you want to have good water flow, not as much as your sps tank, but if you dont have good flow, you will get red slime algea

how much flow is good flow? the refugium is a 18 long 16 wide and 20 high

I turned a 20L into a refugium and have been running 200GPH through it with great success. The water has to be in the refugium long enough to be effected by the natural filtering process. I also keep a coral banded shrimp and a small damsel in there to eat any food matter that gets sucked through the overflow, a filter doesn’t do much good if it just becomes a home for rotten food.
