How much flow should i have for my 55g? I have one koralia powerhead goin that is 1200gph and my return which is like 350gph. I have another koralia that is 800gph but i turned it off recently because it was pushin my sand everywhere and i wanted to see how the tank would do with it off.

Also i have a T5HO light with 2 acitinic 10000k bulbs just curious as to see if this is enough light for corals. (gettin new light soon neway i am just curious)

Depends on what type of corals you are planning on having. Softies and LPS will prefer lower flow while SPS like a lot of random flow. I would turn back on that second koralia and try to point it so it doesn't blow sand.

i dont believe that they can be adjusted i will have to double check, but i didnt see a way to do it.

pont the second one towards the surface so you get lots of waves, this will help with surface aggitation (PH) and allow you to redirect some of the extra flow away from the sand.

you adjust the koralia by simply grabing ahold of the powerhead in the water and pointing it where you want it, its on a ball swivel near the magnet so you can point it any way you like.

i know that lol i was under the impression of turning it down like making it less gph....and i tried all different angles it just seems to be too much for the tank. I tried havein both of the pointed up for the most part and toward the front of the tank, then i tried pointing them right at eachother nothin seemed to stop the sand from movin after a few days. What if i put the both lower in the tank and pointed them up at more of an angle? Right now they are about 5-6 inches from the surface of the water point up as much as possible without makin a mess.

well, every time you move them the current is going to change in the tanka dn for the first day or so you are going to get sand movement, it will eventually move the sand to where it wants it and thenh it will encrust a bit and become harder.
