Do you think i need more flow? my tank is 200G 7'x2'x2' 99% sps .
I have two 6100 on a new controller and 800 GPH from sump return pump . i keep the controller on interval 2 - 6 HRS switch 100% -30%.

That is a fairly subjective question. I think that is sufficient flow but others will disagree and I have seen people use 4 or 5 Streams in such a tank. You might try using pulse instead with a higher minimum flow.

I have the pumps at the ends facing the center of the tank one is at 30% the other pulsing at 100% but they are fighting each other at the center of the tank, the center of the tank is boiling but the corners are not good .
Any suggestions?

Steve, are you bare bottom? If you are, give two 6200's a thought. I was running three 6100's and two 6200's on my 125 with a wavebox and still thought I could use more.

I'm in the process of going to a 180 and may add another 6100.

The tank is 12 years old i don't like to blow a panel on the side of the tank. That is the reason Mr Vitko don't recommend me to put a wave box in there.

Yes i know.................. but Algaeman blow the side panel of his 215 G tank with the 6200.
It is not the $ just that I need to do the right thing with no damage of the tank and corals . It is a 12 years old BB and very touchy any more.

I change the location of the pumps and use a pulse mode and set the pumps just like the tunze book said to do it, now i have a tank with good current but water only runs counter clockwise. It is more flow this way we see if I get any respond from the SPS, is the pulse time makes any difference? I have it set half way.

I used to run wavebox and tunze 6100 on my 150g i believe my tank is very old due to the trim and shape of the tank but it doing fine. I am now using 4 Tunze 6200 on my 48x48x24. I would replace the 2 6100 with 2 6200. If you have it mounted on the side panel, it should be fine. Just me 2cents
