flower anenome having a baby??

Does anyone know what it looks like when a flower anenome reproduces? I was looking in my tank and saw one of the anenomes with something coming out of it's mouth. It was about 1/2 -3/4" long and kinda whiteish in color. It kept coming out until it finally fell off and went to the bottom of the tank. Do you think it's a new baby one or anenome poop??

i started out with two from Funkyman ,now i have 8 , and i gave away 5 or so a few months back . they multiply big time.

The one I got from you Murph has not reproduced. However, it is very cool and eats alot. It is about 5"-5.5" dia. It looks really cool when just the t5 actinics are on at dawn and dusk.
 
the green is REAL neon under dust to dawn lighting , and the purple lines really pop in full lighting . cool little buggers , if anyone wants one , come and get it , be ready to try to get if off the rock thought , they are a bummer to get the foot off , but it you can get it off its yours for free ! i have a few of them to spare ,,,,,
 
can i have 1 ill be at the swap i have a rock anenome now its pretty close looking to that and also looks awesome under actinics but has never reproduced.
 
i will try guys ,, i do owe Chris one that i already have set aside , i will try to get a few off the rocks , but i dont want to tear my rocks to much apart , and they shrink right up as soon as you touch them , and grab on big time , no promises but i will try
 
Hey do those things sting other corals like the regular anemones? If not I would like one also Murphs. Not now or anything but later down the road. Had a RBTA in my tank and it kept stinging everything so had to get rid of it.
 
ahhhhhhhh Vietcu ,,,,your the one with the keds red zoas ?? when you have enough to frag again , we could work something out for 1 or 2 polyps ?? i will be going to the meeting from now on , so we will talk next meeting , these really dont move around to much , and i dont think they sting like bubble tips , i have a few butted right up to some zoas , and they get along just fine
 
What is the deal with Keds reds, I know there were others that had some up on swapper. You didn't happen to request any of those? Anyways, I will get you some Murph. Once I am able to cut up some more, you are first in line for those Keds FREE. Just make sure you remind me or else I might charge you double :). Just curious about those flower anemone, not looking to get any right now or anything. Thanks again Murph.
 
Thanks for the info. guys. I have several more if anyone wants one for free. Chuggy, your right by me so let me know. I don't know where anyone else lives, but I'm in Cleveland Heights. I'm not able to go to the swap either so we would have to get together at another time either at my house or the meeting. The only thing is that I am afraid of them so I would need some help getting them out or you are welcome to try. (I got stung by a jellyfish while scuba diving and I'm afraid of stinging things ever since) I know, what a girl!!

Well I wish that I would have netted the turd/baby before it fell down the live rock. Now I have to wait for it to sprout up.

Murph, it was from one of the babies that the one you gave me had. After I got one from you, Funkyman gave me 2 more. So I probably have 4 or 5 new ones.

I'm glad I finally have something to share.

I was able to catch 4 of the anenomes. Let me know if anyone wants them. I don't have another tank, so they are in a net in my display.
