Flower leather getting dark...

we recently added a pink flower leather to our 55g reef about a week ago and last night we noticed that on the bottom it was turing a purple color. this morning three quarters of it is purple... almost the color of a bruise. does anyone know what could be causing this? we have a small cyano problem that has recently started again, could this be the problem? any advice welcome. thanks in advance!

a pic would help....but if its a type of leather coral...this is normal..it does this from time to time then it will come back better than ever....mine does this all the time.....i think your ok.......
