Fluconazole/ Bryopsis question

Hey everybody 👋🏼 , so I'm about a week deep into a Fluconazole treatment for Bryopsis and it's really starting to die off now, my question is most of it is on my glass, is itnok to just scrape they dying stuff off the glass and into to filter. I plan on replacing my filters media when all said and done with the water change . Right now it just has its sponge parts, ceramics and phosguard. Took out carbon and purigen and slimmer offline

Thanks !

Skimmer not slimmer 😂 but my thought is basically since it's dying and the flucon is still in the water it's not going to break off and grow elsewhere?

I would suggest cleaning the sponges more often - daily would be best so that as the dying bryopsis decays it doesn't add to the nitrates/phosphates in your system.

Yes it is totally fine to scrap it from the glass to be captured and removed by mechanical filtration..
