Fluidized filter to phosban reactor

Hi there..i have a Merlin Fluidized filter laying around. What kind of pump should I use to make this to a phosban reactor? Also, what is the recommended amount for a tank size 17g with 10g sump. How often you change out the phosban?

Use 30 ml once a month. Adjust as neccessary vased on phosphate readings.

Pump size of 100 gph.
