Flukes Success Story

My wrass was flashing, shaking her head, and breathing sporadically. She had a few white/transparent spots on her side. I did research and decided to freshwater dip and transfer to QT with formalin. After being in the freshwater for a minute or two, the flukes just starting falling off!


She is now in QT and doing great. She really seems a lot happier. Just wanted to share!

Congrats! May I suggest now treating with two rounds of Prazipro, 5 days apart. Finish the flukes off and the "second generation" from any eggs left behind.

I need to order some prazipro. My LFS only has formalin so my wrasse is in QT with that for now. Probably take her out in a few days. I hope it doesn't come back because it was hard to catch her!
