I just started what I intended to be a rock/fish only tank, I got lucky and was given a 60 g. Other than that, Im on a tight budget. Everything is cycled, the fish have been doing good. The reason I say this is because I cheaped out and bought some coralife flourescent lights for 80 bucks or so (not intending to grow coral). Last week, my roommate brought home a rock with about 8 little zoanthids on it. theyve been in there for a few days now and seem to be doing fine. I put them as close to the light as possible, figuring that since the light wasn't all that great, the closer the better. Will they survive? What should I do?
