Hi...does anybody know it the ceramic shaft comes out of the magnetic impeller or is it pressed on at the factory?

It's permanently glued into the magnet and does not come out of the magnet. If you broke the shaft or damaged the rotor, you will need to buy a complete impeller (rotor, magnet and shaft).

Glad to help. If you are doing maintenance on the pump, take the pump cover off, take the complete impeller out. Set the o-rings aside. Give the block, pump cover and impeller a 10 minute soak in straight household vinegar. Then scrub the block and impeller with a soft dish brush. Scrub the inside of the magnet cavity with a tooth brush. The rinse and reassemble. If you do that every 6 or so months, that pump will last forever.
