FMAS Coral Grow Out Contest 2016: SPS is about to begin!!!!!:bounce3::bounce3:

The following coral has been chosen for our next contest. Its an SPS: Branching Setosa. More details to come. I have had it in my tank for ~ 1 week. I will be fragging it in the next week or so. I will keep frags for another few days to make sure they are all viable.

After that, details will be sent out, regarding PRIZES, etc....... STAY TUNED!!!

is branching setosa different from orange setosa? i recently got a frag of orange and it seems to be doing well in my tank!

Not sure if there is a difference in setosas. Mine seems to encrust like crazy. And I've seen some that branch like crazy. I think it has more to do with conditions than anything. The ones that are given lots of running room seem to make full use of it and encrust. The branch you ones I've seen were always mounted on a ledge or outcropping.

Life issues in the way folks. Coral is doing fine in my tank. I hope to crank my coral cutter out this week, and share more info......:bounce3:

What do you guys think would be a fair price? Consider all the money goes to the winner!!!!. But what would a fair price be for a Branching Setosa Frag? Even if you don't win, you end up with a nice frag!

$20-30 I would err on the $20 to keep things more civil lol. Boogers even less....JMHO
