Foam guard.

Hi,

What's the foam guard for? Can I run my pumps without them? I have to clean the foams every one of two days because it'll suck some of the flakes or mysis from the feeding of my fish. Thank you.

The foam guard is an accessory for those who are concerned about running the pump in tanks with fragile inhabitants. My opinion is that the foam guard is not needed in general and rarely used overall. However, it is there should you want it.
