I am new to this hobby and skimmers. I just setup my Euro-reef RS100 last night and kept the intake pipe open as recommended in the book. The foam level is low...just above the reaciton chamber line and not at the cup level. The book says that I should dial it in to be aout 1.5inches into the cup.... what happens now? 
Does the waste float off of the foam and slowly into the collection cup or should the foam actually overflow into the cup...?
My bioload is tiny (2 percula clownfish, 1 mexican turbo snail, 2 blue legged hermits) so it probably won't skim anything but I'd like to just get a better understanding...
