Foam Rockwall w/ built in refuge for a 26 gal bowfront

Ah, gotcha.

Well, the fact you still have one means you "will" have more in due time :) I started with 1 and now have 6 :(
I've been waiting patiently for more!
No such luck..

The "mother nem" that mine was a split from is about the size of a dinner plate. Most of the splits are from part getting sucked in the overflow. Mine was found in the filter sock. Lol

Today I cleaned the mp10 and when I turned it back on a tentacle got sucked in and it quickly pulled it back out. Lol
I'm excited for you Sam! Good luck with the fish hunt!
It's strange isn't it. I feel like I'm starting over. The tank is getting more spacious.

Still open to suggestions!

I'm leaning toward 3 yellow clown gobies - pretty sure this is definite.

Considering the pygmy cherub angel

On the hunt for a new clown too
The problem is I need to see the actual fish I'm getting to inspect it for deformities and pattern. I want a nice one and this essentially eliminates all online stores. Basically at the mercy of my overpriced LFS...

Doesn't help that I'm cheap!

Welp, guess it's time to move the mp10...

Strange... It's like it was solderized at the base and inflated itself into bubble form. All the tentacles are long and stringy, but I just saw this one floating around the tank.

Sweet! Congrats!
I'm gonna assume your not excited and congratulating me on my skimmer misfortune... Lol

I partook in another live sale. I bought 13 frags and won 8 from the raffle! Going to sell most of it. Still trying to get 3 zoa's to open up.

Well, sad day..
Found my crab on the floor next to the bed this afternoon. Traveled about 8' from the tank to my side of the bed looking for my help..

May he/she rest in peace! Sorry for the loss!

Thanks, I believe it was a he based on its tail flap thingy.

It was about the same size as the last one I had when I found it under the fish cabinet. Oh well. I'll catch me another one next year!

Micro bubbles are lessoning, but it's still out of control. Perks of owning a junk skimmer. Lol

Going to try and find some parts to modify my 3' skimmer I've got laying around...

Painted the little cabinet to match the big one. Lol will post pic tomorrow.
Finishing up a hanger for the LED box light over the mini tank as well.

Sorry about your crab. How'd it get past your screen?

I've got some micro bubbles too. My canister filter is getting old…

The accessory corner just has a loose fitting plastic strip with plenty of openings to crawl out from previous equipment no longer in use. It was also strong enough it could probably move the lid if it wanted. The little plastic strip had actually been removed for a week to clean the skimmer and I just recently put it back on, so I fell a little better it was at least on when it got out. Not like I left the door open. Lol

The micro bubbles were so bad they were clumping together within coral and releasing, floating up, and forming a layer at the surface.
Now they're just everywhere..

Have you tried unplugging and plugging the canister filter back in? I have to do this all the time for mine or you can hear it pull air pockets into the impeller. This is caused by the intake grate getting partially plugged and air forms inside the filter.. mine anyways. It's cheap Chinese junk. Lol
Runs fine after cleaning the intake strainer.

Took this upper kitchen cabinet and island tile from a dumpster on a house I was helping redo. Lol

Painted the cabinet white and the tile tan to match, then caulked it to the top. Lol

Went to Lowe's the other day looking for another arm to mount my LED box light for the 2.5. Ended up taking one from the wall display because they don't make them anymore with the little plastic slide lock on top. Had to get someone to come up with a sku# since it didn't have a sticker. Haha.
Ground it off in spots for it to fit at the bottom of the rack. Cut and bent a clothes hanger and mounting is complete!

What are your plans for the 2.5?

What are you going to put LEDs in today? Cereal bowl? Toilet seat? Christmas sweater?

How's the cherub?

My plans for the 2.5? **** off the wife. Lol
I've had to listen to her tell me it's not going to be another tank. Lol she hated the ugly brown/black tile cabinet. I painted it and haven't heard any complaints. Lol
She also said I'd regret it if I put water in it - that was a week ago. Lol

I actually got a pause, then a look of maybe when I suggested it be her tank and she pick what goes in it. That was quickly followed by a no. Haha

No LED fun today. :(
But there's always some in my head on what else I can put them in.

I put green LED's. In my cupholder last week. Lol

I found a single row light bar for my roof rack my wife will kill me if I buy. Lol
I'm really considering cutting off the back of the turn signal housings and putting some 36w 7" light bars in their place for lighting the shoulder in remote areas at night.
I'd relocate the turn signals to either the side markers or make a custom led signal in the little filler plate under the headlights...
Priorities. Lol

Cherub is good. Cute little guy!
It and my sheepshead minnow kind of bicker. The angel will kind of trail behind the minnow every once in a while and drive it nuts. Then they bicker.
It nips at everything, but no coral unless it sees something on it. Very active fish.

Looks like a bottle of kryptonite! Really? No LED cereal bowl, for late night snacks? Don't get all married and reasonable on us…

I have a suggestion for the 2.5. Use it as a mini QT for the small fish you plan to add. Once they are ready for the big show, add them to your display and catch the cherub and put it in there for a week, so the new guys can get established, unharassed. Otherwise, you're looking at the same scenario you had with the mean clown. Order of introduction is critical to a peaceful, non-stress inducing community.

Another option, would be to add other small 'Rambo' fish, like damsels and basslets, for a mini agro fish tank.
