Foam stuff for the "rock work" look????

Hmmm?

Hmmm?

Has anyone here ever tried inlaying 1/4 in airline tubing in the foam that you could hook a small pwrhead to with spouts throughout the backdrop for extra flow? I am going to give it a shot so Ill let you know hoeit goes.

1/4 gives you no flow....! After 4 months it will be totally clogged and ...literally..no flow.

If you are imb eling it, use at least 1/2"....good Idea though....!

ahem. Please excuse the micro bubbles. My skimmer is having an off day. :D

I ended up super glue-ing it to the back wall.

Does that BIG ROCK wanna float or what???lol

MAEDA...how are you battling that boyant boat and keeping it down??

MAEDA, I would like to know this too. I have built some rocks, and they have proven to be much more bouyant than I had expected. Im trying to figure out how Im going to get them to "stay put" in my tank.

Speaking of foam stuff... I just had to move my tank and I noticed that most of the rocks I had "glued" together with the pond foam basically fell apart in my hands. I think I'll use epoxy next time...

I'm looking to do foam wall, and thinking of siliconing to glass.
I know it's pretty boyant, and wondering if anyone has had any probs w/ boyancy pulling on glass?
