Foam thickness

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help. What foam thickness should I use between my stand and rimless glass tank? I think I have 3/4" now between my 240 acrylic and the stand. I know I need it especially with the rimless but want to get the right size, the tank is 48x30x16. Any help is appreciated. Thx.

If your stand top is f l a t you don't need much. Anything will do the trick like 1/8".

I wouldn't do anything more than 1/2", it's just not needed. The pink stuff at the home stores that's a tad under 1/2" works good, unless you can find something 1/8" or 1/4" (depending on your stand)
