food fo bta?

Silversides, shrimp, etc.
But i have looked into keeping the correct amount of iodine, calcium, magnesium, etc, so i dont have to feed mine. It is a lot more expensive but who knows it might turn out to be very good.

I disagree. I think you should definately feed your bta. And the best food is silverslides. You can find them in the frozen section at your lfs. You'll need to cut it in half or 1/3 depending on the size of it. If its to big it'll have trouble eating it.

Also check out www.karensroseanemones.com for tons of good info

This is just plain wrong. This is just like saying I take mega vitamine
so that I don't have to eat. Trace element do not provide calories for the anemone. High level of trace element are toxic, just like high level of certain vitamin in our body.
We can provide optimal light for our anemone so that we don't have to feed them as much. Light will provide calorie for the anemone because they are photosynthetic.

I didnt feed mine for a number of months and it looked awful and shrunk in size. Now I am feeding it Silversides and it seems to be doing just fine. Just my two cents I guess
