What are you guys feeding your tanks for both fish and corals and are you adding any supplements?

I feed:
Formula 2 Flakes
DT's Phyto
DT's Oyster eggs
Frozen cyclopeez
PE Mysis
Reef Chili
Selcon
Garlic Guard
Reef Plus

I feed them every other day once a day (Usually around 7-8pm)

I tried Nori but my tang did not got for it at all...

DT's Oyster eggs and San Fransisco Bay/Sally's Rotifers for the corals. San Francisco Bay/Sally's Saltwater Multi Pack and Formula 2 flakes for the fish. I rotate them out weekly on what I use. I feed before I go to bed/lights out in the tank.

i still have 99% of my bag of fish mush from the meeting at angela's in mt freezer. don't really need it, so i guess i'll bring it to the meeting for somebody to put to use

Give the New Life Spectrum pellets a try. I feed those almost exclusively to my fish. My 4 angels attack it as well as the chromis and the clowns. The Thera A+ pellets are non-medicated anti-parasitic (great for fish like angels that come in with internal parasites).

My feeding schedule is really basic, but everything seems happy. I rotate (randomly):

live brine (maybe 1 or twice a month)
frozen mysis (1-2 times a week)
frozen brine (1-2 times a week)
emerald entree frozen (1-2 times a week)
Formula 1 frozen (1-2 times a month)
occasionally silver sides to some of my bigger LPS corals

I try to feed live stuff more frequently due to getting my mandarin, but I lucked out and he is really active and goes after frozen brine and mysis too. I feed every other day, and drop nori in on a clip 3-4 times a week. I've also pretty much stopped feeding silversides since I no longer have my trigger tank and I melted a whole bag of silversides when my freezer died, but I will start that again, I'm sure. I used to make my own food with the bagged asian seafood, freeze dried cyclops, nori, etc.

I made my own mix with the following ingridients. My fish go absolutely nuts. Stored in freezer, lasts me about 3 months.

10 spoons of live brine shrimp soaked in Zoecon for 24 hours
1 full stick frozen cyclopeeze
20 grams spray dried phytoplankton
20 grams spray dried zooplankton
50 grams spirulina powder
50 grams chlorella powder
1 pack fronzen krill (whole) shell removed (chopped in blender)
1 pack silversides (whole) tails cut off (chopped in blender)
30ml Marine Zoe
30ml Garlic Gaurd
3 sheets green algae
3 sheets red algae
1 pack Hikari Marine-S (to dry out the mix)
1 Pack Hikari Micro Pellets (to dy out the mix)

This mix is very high in DHA/EPA, Protein and Antioxidants.

You can chop the Silversides and krill in a blender and the rest you gently can mix with a spoon...mmmmmm tasty.

I will give anyone 10 bucks a minute upto 10 minutes if you can hold 1 TBSP of this mix in your mouth without spitting it out. You dont have to eat it. Just hold it for a minimum of 3 minutes, max 10 :lol2:

I will also tape this event and post it on youtube

I use prime reef flakes, cyclop-eeze, omega one pellets, green marine algae sheets with garlic extract, and frozen marine cuisine on occasion. I feed twice a day in small amounts. The convict tang eats all of it on top of any tank algae.

I could use this, James, if you wouldn't mind. :)

I feed my own concoction. Its SFBB copepods, formula 2, and the SFBB Saltwater Multi-Pack all mixed together. I've got some Oyster Eggs I need to put to use, too.

Thanks for the tip... I'm gonna give those a try and see what results I get..

I've been meaning to make my own mush food and see how that works out... Now that some of you put some recipes down I might just give it a shot...

+1 on the New Life Sprectrum pellets. I have used them exclusively for about 9 years and just supplement some brine every once in a while. With my old 280 i had a Sohol tang, Purple tang, Moorish Idol, Maroon Clown, gobies and some anthias. Only fed them the pellets for about 3 yrs.

I hate messing with all the frozen crap. I made mush and it ended up just sitting in the freezer for years.

ahhh.. Forgot Nori... Also gave lots of nori :)
