For All The Bucs Fans

Definitely one of the nicest facilities in the league, to go along with one of the most fun stadiums. We're going to the Saints, Titans, Cardinals, and Falcons games. Some of my best friends favortie teams are TEN and ARZ so I hope to go watch the Bucs make a fool out of them at home otherwise I won't hear the end of it.

It does suck about Alstott, I hope he waits until the end of the season to retire and becomes a motivation for this group to get back to the playoffs.

The Bucs are absolutely a better team this year hopefully by at least 5 games, that should be enough for a wildcard.

The Bucs didn't even come close to the wildcard last year, they were 4-12 and scored the second fewest points in the league, absolutely terrible

TEN definitly has a chance for the playoffs but since they are in the AFC both the Bucs and Titans could make it. My old college room mate would love that, he was born and raised in Nashville. As a matter of fact we were a last minute, hail mary, one handed catch by Ricky Proehel, from having the Bucs vs Titans Superbowl in 99. To say the least we were excited abou the chance and now close to 10 yrs later neither of our teams are even close to sniffing the big game.

I thought the Bucs were in the playoffs last year and lost to the redskins, am i wrong?

The Bucs beat the Redskins last year in the regular season. And did not make the playoffs.

Week 11: vs. Washington Redskins
Redskins 17
Buccaneers 20
Game time: 1:00 PM EST
Game weather:
Stadium: Raymond James Stadium
Television announcers (FOX): Matt Devlin and Bill Maas
Game attendance: 65,699
Hoping to rebound from their three-game losing streak, the Buccaneers went home for rematch of last year's NFC Wildcard match-up with the Washington Redskins. In the first quarter, the Bucs drew first blood with kicker Matt Bryant nailing a 26-yard field goal, while Redskins kicker Nick Novak got a 45-yard field goal. After a scoreless second quarter, Washington took the lead in the third quarter with QB Jason Campbell completed a 3-yard TD pass to TE Chris Cooley. Tampa Bay would respond with QB Bruce Gradkowski completed a 2-yard TD pass to TE Anthony Becht. In the fourth quarter, the Bucs managed to wrap-up the game with Gradkowski completing a 34-yard TD pass to WR Joey Galloway, while Bryant kicked a 31-yard field goal. Even though the Redskins would get a 4-yard TD pass from Campbell to TE Todd Yoder, the Bucs held on to win and advance to 3-7.

Yeah last years game against the skins didn't mean anything, by that point we had already lost 7 of 9.

In 2005 the Bucs and Redskins had a bit of a rivalry going. If you remember the regular season game is when the Bucs drove all the way down to score a TD with less than a minute to go to tie it up at 35 all. But Washington jumped off sides on the extra point which moved the ball to the one yard line and Gruden decided he had the best one yard back in history so he gave the ball to Alstott for the win.

I was at the wildcard game against the Skins and we got ripped on a bad call. They called Cadillac for a fumble in the 3rd that the Skins took to the house for what ended up being the win. Not to mention our offense was still terrible. That was the same game that the Skins safety Shawn Taylor spit in Michael Pittman’s face.

Yea from what i have heard from people was that Taylor actually got beat up after the game. But that was the game the Bucs allowed the fewest yards on offense ever in the playoffs. Right?

Yep, 120 something total yds allowed which is the lowest in playoff history and of course the fewest yards allowed for a losing team. I hope Taylor did get his butt whipped but Pittman is a bit of a dirt bag himself. Remember he was arrested a couple times for domestic violence. The last time he actually jumped in his full size hummer and ran over her car as she was trying to leave....lol....What an idiot!

I sure hope Garcia can move the ball well becuase outside of last year our Defense has carried this team. I can't believe that in the last 11 years we haven't been able to find a decent QB in the draft, free agency, or trades.

Not a Bucs fan myself, but I never understood why they ever let Brad Johnson go.

rofl. Most days I ask myself the same question.

Though I was really happy with Luke Mccown's performance the other night. Bout time the guy actually played in a game for us.....but thats a different story.
