What are your tank parameters?

Phosphate:
Nitrate:
Calcium:
Alk:
Mag:
Type of salt:

Also what type of water do you use and what r/o unit if you use one?

thanks to anyone who takes the time to post

Phosphate...don't know yet...but no algae problems.
nitrate 10
calcium 380 last checked
Alk 11 drops in the API test kit.
Mag...don't know yet.
Type of salt: instant ocean
RO/DI from culligan (had to complain to get them to add the DI)

I'm doing daily water changes in my tank, have rock that's over one year old if that helps. The rock I have started with a lot of coralline algae and now it's spreading to the back of the tank and the glass in my bio-cube.

phosphates 0
nitrates 0
calcium 420
magnesium 1320
alk 11.5
pH 8.0
sal 1.026
temp 78-80

alk at the high end of the range helps

have no visible signs of any other algae in the tank and on the rocks--that leaves space on the rocks for corraline to grow and nusance algae not to

Phosphate:0-1 ppm (test kits can't tell exactly but with the sponge it should be 0-1)
Nitrate:10 ppm (i can get it down but softies like dirty water so do my SPS).
Calcium:420ppm (dose Randy's DIY 2 part)
Alk:don't know but stable
Mag:don't know but since cal and alk are ok it is stable
Salt: Reef Crystals (wish i had the money for tropic marin)

R/O only for any reef including mine:D I use the premium reef supply brand from premium aquatics

But for good growth strong light+good calcium levels+mature tank=coraline filled tank (mine is still developing)

Phosphate: .4
Nitrate: 0
Calcium: 360
Alk: 11.5
Mag: 1300
Type of salt: RC last 2 WC's ( one today) IO before that. Test done today
RO/DI from LFS

PO4= 0
NO3= 0
Ca = 400
Alk= 9
Mg= 1300
Ph=8.1 (Pinpoint meter)
Sg=1.027 (calibrated refractometer)

With Elos kits

Reef Crystals (bad batch that I dose before using to get up to ca=400 and mag=1300)

I use RO/DI Typhon III from Air, Water and Ice

Ca 400, Alk 7-9 dKa, Mg 1300, Nitrate 0 PO4 0 pH 8.0
Instant Ocean RO/DI The Filter Guys. I supplement with Ca and Alk from Two Part Solution (Bulk Reef Supply)

Careful what you wish for. When the coralline starts taking off it covers everything and becomes a maintenence hassle, although it looks cool.

PO4=0, nitrate=0 ish, Ca=400, alk 8, Mg=n/a, pH=8.3
Instant ocean, Suomi Knight RO/DI,
Tank is a little over a year old, rock, equipment,sides and back are 50% covered, used a bottle of purpleup before I heard it did no good. 260w pc 2@65w daylight 2@65w actinic
