the ballasts I know were used for a little over a year or so. This last year they were not used at all. The black one I really don't know. I called icecap about them and they were willing to convert two but not sure about the 3rd one. The pump was used about the same amount of time but unused for a year as well. Pump was tested and works .
I wanted to convert them to a 120v so that I did not have to use a 220. I decided to keep the icecap 660 which were 120v so that I can use them for a 110 line.( doing T5) I am doing softies anyway. Do not need MH.
