I've been upgrading and am ready to tear down this system.

I need to get rid of what's left in it first but the whole system can be yours if you like it. It's obviously not a show tank but is a great frag tank.

So what's left in it?

I'm guessing several hundred pounds of live rock. $2 / lb
At least half a dozen colonies of pulsating xenia. $5 ea except the mother colony. She's $25 (8-9" across)
Large colony of yellow stars / button polyps (9"x4"). $20
Large colony of green star polyps / zoos (8"x8"). $20
3-4 zoo rocks (at least 50 polyps ea). $10 ea
mushroom rock (at least 25 polyps). $10
2 green fuzzy shrooms. $10 ea

Varies colored ricordea but they've attached themselves to the bottom. I'm assuming I can probably scrape them up with a razor blade. $5 / polyp

What's the catch? Flatworms - be prepared to QT and treat. I'm not going to treat the whole tank but I can dip individuals just prior to sale.

Whole System:
4' x 4' tank
DIY Rubbermaid trickle filter with LR rubble
Rubbermaid sump
DIY trickle cartridge filters
All plumbing
Mag 12 return pump
ASM G3 Skimmer
Your choice: Either 2 - 4' sets of 220watt VHO's (retro)
Or 2 - 4' Current Dual Satalites (4x65watt)
Cynder Blocks and 2x4's

And all this can be yours for a mere $500
 
what color are the zoos and mushrooms. I'm interested in them. and possibly some rock. for the rock would i have to dip the rock to kill the flatworms or only the corals?
 
Zoos: orange w/brown skirts
another one looks purplish with a green eye. These looked real good in the tank I had them in before this one.
Oh My - just looked at the 3rd colony under actinics. I'm keeping it. It's got some elect rasberry and some that look like marroon centers and green skirts. This rock also has some GSP on it which is why I was going to sell it but the zoos look toooo good. I'll cut the GSP off and keep it.

Shrooms:
The brownish ones with like bluish dots.

Flatworm exit won't hurt the corals. Dip the whole thing, rock/coral and all.

Unfortunately I won't have a return pump for this system.

No stand - I had it built into the wall

I'll be looking for $500 for this as well
 
WHALER: I won't part out at the moment. IF no one is interested in the entire system once I sell off all the livestock and rock then I would consider parting.

REEFWREAK: I'm not familiar with the cube. IF you have 7.5" of bare wall (inside and outside of the cube) then yes, the bakPack will work. $75 w/pump

I realize that I could easily make more by busting these up and selling off frags at the auction or even to my LFS but at this point, I really just want them gone so this tank can come down.

I've taken some quick photos. It's hard to get good photos since I have to take from above and there's always seems to be light reflections but here they are.

The mother colony of xenia you can see in the tank photos above. The one near the drain.

Green Star - there is also zoos on this rock - BIG on a piece of Scroll Coral (I think) $20

Green Fuzzy Shroom - I thought the xenia was attached to this rock but it isn't. However since this fuzzy is on a 3.25 lb piece of Fiji LR I'm going to have to up the price a bit. $15

I have another green fuzzy on a smaller rock but the fuzzy is just as big if not bigger. $10

I really would rather not do PayPal because they take a percentage as well and I'm already not asking much for this stuff.

POST a comittment. This way everyone can see who's got first dibs. Cash on pick up. I'm in Coral Springs and available any evening or all day on Sundays.

Delsfishes - I don't know which ones you are wanting. The yellow or the green?

FLATWORMS - FREE FOR THE HAULING.
Once again, I can blow off individual items and dip them just prior to pick up but I would also QT on your own as well.

Reefwreak I used to have a BakPack skimmer. IMO you shouldnt get any problems if you set it at one of the sides of the nanocube. It's a little to big to fit in the back.
 
Just195 is taking the two zoo colonies, one toadstool leather frag and I'm going to break off a small frag of the yellow star for him. It's so big, you won't miss it.

Everything else is still available.
 
Green Star and yellow star are gone although I have more green star if you really want some and I have a rock that has 3 yellow star polyps on it that had spread for the original rock.
 
Most everything is gone except for some of the live rock.

At this point, I'm willing to take $100 OBO for everything within the tank that remains.

I'd guesstimate there is at least 60 lbs of live rock left. About 18 pieces that are like 6-7" across. The remainder is smaller.
There are single polyps here and there of shrooms, zoos, anthelia and xenia.

And of course the entire system is still available. Tank, blocks, sumps, skimmer and lights. $500
