My wife and I decided last night we're going to Sebastian Inlet Saturday. We don't have a boat or anything. We're just going beach/tide pool combing. Anyone wanna meet up, we'll be there.

I am to lazy to read this whole thread. I go to st pete and get puffers seahorses crabs snails pipefish filefish blennies, gobies, sea stars, sea hares on occassion, tons tons tons more.
I would try low tide, thats when I do my best collecting, I found this guy the other day at the beach, ( In the rock's, low tide tidal pools). Not sure what he is, was under 1" when i cought him. Any ideas?
Who can go next weekend. Either sat. or Sunday? Im thinking taking at trip to St. Pete where playa0069u goes. Playa can you tell me how to get there or maybe go with me and show me.
Djchesnutrabbit, I would go with you guys down there but I have to much going on this weekend and not a darn thing next weekend that I can think of. lol
I am going to plan a trip to that tidepool that christie posted a photo of. Probably middle march on a sun or sat to snorkel around. My next 4 weeks are really full, so I probably cannot make a trip earlier. Will post a specific date later on.
Looks like I am going to head over to cristies spot on sunday march 4th. I should be living in xmas by that time. Anyone else is welcome to tag along, especially anyone that knows where they are going because I am just going to stumble through the area looking around. Snorkle/swimming area only, not going to worry about boats.
If your looking to just putt around, these guys rent boat ( John Boats ) for a good price. Check them out.
I live over on the beach, if you don't get a boat, and go tide pools just remember to flip the rocks over, lots of cool stuff on the bottome, but put them back the way you found them.
Here's the link.
Good hunting
