For those of you that make trips to the beach for critters...

Well its official the low tide is 2am, and high tide is 6 pm, the weekend after low tide is like 8:30, maybe st. pete isnt the best place for next weekend, I am going to check sebastian right now.

Ok, well this is up to you guys, but sebastian inlet looks a lot more promising for this weekend, the reason being the only low tide on saturday for st pete is 2:30 am, usually there are 2 low tides, but the charts do not show a 2nd low time for saturday. However at sebastian low tide is

2007-02-10 7:11 AM EST 0.48 feet Low Tide

Luse and Greg let me know what you guys think, since you guys are the only ones I know of that were going to go. If anyone else has better tide understandings, any info would be appreciated.

I agree that the sebastian area is a better bet but are we going to go and be there at 7am? Its about an hour drive for me and that would have me getting up at 5 am to get ready and leave :)

Does anyone happen to have a jet ski or a boat? We could walk the shoreline and mangroves but for the grassbeds, a small drag net would be a lot easier.

The other low tide is 7:33 pm.

I think we plan on going too, but I know we're not up for the early thing either.

I was considering getting there at 8, wouldnt be too early, I think its about a 2 hour drive for us, so we will be getting up at the crack of dawn.

I saw the other low tide is 7:33pm, just worried it may be a little to dark and cool to catch anything succesfully then, maybe not tho.

I am ok with going to sebastion inlet also. I dont mind either way. I dont know about being there at 8am though. Why dont we meet somewhere around 8 am in orlando area and drive there. Its like an hour or hour and half drive.

lol, sleeping in is overated. but ok what time do you guys want to meet? Would somewhere near 528 and 95 be ok? I live in volusia county and driving through orlando is way out of the way for me.

What time do you guys want to meet? Remember we dont want to go to late because the closer to low tide the better. Just let me know.

i say 9 in the morning somewhere on 95 for the earliest. lol. I think you snorkel at sebastian is a place to snorkel right?

I dont know about the snorkeling, If anyone has any clue about that please inform us. Also, if anyone has an exact location that would be well suited for us and directions, please let us know.

Since I'm in Kissimmee, it would be silly for me to backtrack up to Orlando. I'll shoot down 192 to A1A.
Could one of you folks kindly pm me and we'll swap phone #'s so when the convoy gets there we can meet up ?

Ok well, trying to find a place to meet up, not sure exactly where we are going however, is it the Sebastian Inlet state park?

Ok well I found a spot that will work for all of us.
Its a Burger King in Melbourne on 192. This is the exit we need to get off of 95 of anyways. This way everyone can meet up together.
