i have 2.5" teeth for my overflow to accommodate the good wave action.
my only concern is it too much flow on a mixed reef tank?
i love softies including mushroom and have a sugar size sand thin bed that already blown by my 3 6205

or will 1 6215 will be enough

On a tank that was 100"Lx18"wx30"t dual corner overflows one wavebox moved the water up and down about one inch. That's a half inch each way. I thought it needed another one. Are you going to have the 6205's timed with the wavebox or random?

can i time/ sync it all with apex?

I have 180 with wavebox and 4 6100/6105 at all four corner and still don't feel enough.

that's what i though but Last version tank(ching chai"s old tank) have a great wave action with 1 wave box.i will try one later when my tank settle in.

Not sure if you can do it with an Apex but for sure you can with a Tunze controller. The sugar sized sand could be a problem for a couple of months while the sand settles and packs. I ended up laying down an extra layer of larger grained sand to keep it down and still can't keep any sand in the center/front area.

i can't keep a thin sand on 1 area on the tank now for some reason
but i still want the wave action my tank is meant to be.:spin1:

Those are small tanks. What I saw with a long tank is two waves. It takes longer for the wave to travel the length of the tank. I don't have an Apex but you need the 6205's to turn on when the box is off.
