Just a quick question, liveaquaria said they should be fed mysis/brine shrimp, chopped "crustacean flesh." But mine will only eat omega one flakes, I tried mysis shrimp it didn't go for them, are flakes enough? It does look alot fatter than it was at the LFS.

Also, how exactly poisonous is their bite?

I would not worry about it too much since he is eating. He will love pods and if you want to train him to eat frozen mysis and such you may have to start with live brine (which can be a bad thing if not careful), but from my experience I would not worry about mysis. Stick with the flakes and use pods also. The only thing is, that it might be hard to get a good steady population of pods to thrive in the tank since he is already in there (keep the pods in the fuge, or DT if you do not have alot of very porouse-spelling- rock). As far as the bite goes, it is nothing to be overly scared of. The bite will be painful but you will survive. Chances are you will never get bit.
