found a sundial snail

Hello everyone

I found a sundial snail in my aquarium munching on some of my zoo's.. I will be keeping a close eye on the rest of my zoo's especially after the lights go out ... is there any way that i could be sure that I get rid of these things ... tomorrow i am setting up a QT tank and placing all my zoo's in there ... any other suggestions for getting rid of these things... Damn I wish I didn't have to kill it they are so pretty looking ... does anyone need to get rid of some unwanted zoo's? I'd really hate to flush it...

FW + Lugol's Dip work on snails? It seems to work on flatworms and zoo eatin' nudis.

when the polyps are closed you should be able to see them pretty easily. just pick em off with some tweasers. i found a couple on a new colony i got. you will notice the polyps around where the snail is will stay closed as of they were annoyed. remove the colony from the water and give it a good look over. you are right though, thay are a nice looking snail.

Sundial aren't a big deal at all, its the nudis you have to worry about.

yeah those stupid nudis wiped out all of my orange zoos! by the time i killed them off, it was too late............all my bright zoos were gone!

I hope this isnt too far off topic but does anyone have a pic of the zoo eating nudis? I found two small yellow nudis in my tank recently.

you may want to save them to sell/trade at a later date. there are usually sps only people looking for sundials to take care of their zoo problem.
