So the last few days when the lights are out I've been putting a flashlight to the tank...I've been seeing a lot of things that look like fleas crawling everywhere and something a little bit bigger than them that looks like a brown centipede but last night I found like a 4" worm I think that also looks like a centipede it was sort of clear with a vein color blue and reddish body...it ran into the rock work before I could stab it with the chopsticks...does anyone know what this is and do I need to get rid of it??

P.S. i found out there is alot of life in my tank when the lights go out...i love it well unless it's a bad thing lol any help I greatly appreciated thank you

It seems like what your describing is a bristle worm and from my experience they really pose no harm to your tank. The "flea like" things are either copepods or amphipods. Here's a few pics I took with my high powered microscope of things I've pulled out of the office tank you might like of them.

Yeah Google bristle worms.. They are great to have in your Reef and pose no harm. They will eat dead things and detritus. People kill them for no reason they are good to have

Colin that was a big help I think I have amphipods and that 4 inches must be a bristle worm...had me worried that it wasn't a good thing...can't wait to see him again and talk to him lol yes I talk to my tank I'm a weirdo lol

I have seen one that's in the 3rd pic in my tank...everything i see is when lights are out and i put a flashlight to the tank...i have 100s of pods tho and white curled up things that are very small all over my tank glass and rocks
