Four Line wrasse?

My LFS has a beautiful Hawaiian Four Line Wrasse for $49. I've got a small melanarus wrasse already. Also wondering if my candy cane hogfish might be a problem. Any chance this could work? I've also got a purple firefish and a Midas blenny.

How do your hawkfish and Wrasse get a long with your blenny? And how big is he? I have the same wrasse and a spotted hawk in an 80 gal. Tank. I recently watched my wrasse drag my watchman goby around the tank by the tail. He was never aggressive until I got the hawkfish. Have you seen any aggression from yours?

I'm sure you have heard about the problems associated with six line wrasse, well a four line (and the rest of the pseudocheilinus sp) share the same attributes.

Nope; it's still a Pseudocheilinus species. Bad idea. :)

The only issue I had with Pseudocheilinus species was that they like to kill dragonets. My other fish were not bothered by them or knew how to defend themselves (all were larger or meaner).
Though, generally I would not put these with smaller or docile species. They are best housed with larger fish or bullies like the meaner Damselfish.

Got it.

LFS owner (I know!) and online retailers said these were more peaceful than 6-lines.

Glad I asked!
