With all due respect - isn't five dead fish telling you something?

Also with all the respect all those dead as a perfectly logical reason. Unfortunately there are many dealers that just aren´t serious and eaven with the MAC Certificates are still catching fish with poison. That´s unfortunately a reality that we need to live with and not an excuse.

I´m really not trying to make any escuses and my aquarium is my own risc. Definately that I assum the mystake with the vagabund and I know that rule that you´d mentioned. I took the risk and I lose the fish (and be sure that I´m really sorry).

Also be shure that I really know that we need to be carefull with what we wrote in a Forum like this. I´m a former Administrator of a Portuguese Forum and I know that sometimes we are followed by some inexperient hobbist leading to disaster.

What I want to clarify is that I know what I´m doing and the riscs that I´m taking. I don´t want to prove nothing to you guys but I really think that my aquarium will work and in a near future it will be a success. Hopefully I´ll be here to tell the story...

Just to finnish for today - all the ich is gone. At least for now. I´ll wait for two more weeks because of the trofontes cycle. All the 3 zanclus are completely clear. Here´s a picture of the one that had more:

Meanwhile on Sunday I had some Codium algae. Hopefully they will get along in the aquarium... here´s a full layout picture:

I know that I´m very stubborn but please keep posting your opinions - I assure that I take them in consider all the time.

Cheers,
Diogo

PS - sorry if I mean rude sometime but please understand that the english is not my native language and sometimes words are understud differentely that the way I meant to wrote them.

Do you really think they are living in comfort with ICH and no QT??

Sorry I didn´t answer your question. They were not living in comfort and that´s why they had the ich. Now I think that they are confortable.

As I told you before I don´t have any chance to have a QT due to family constrains. Belive it or not that´s the truth.

I´m doing my best for all this fish. I might be wrong doing things like this...

The tank looks great! I'll be interested to see how the Idols do. As you know most Idols die soon after placed in the tank. One of the hardest fish t keep alive. The one you just show is pretty thin - hope you can save him. Do you feed NLS? The owner of NLS swears by his product and says that his food will keep your fish alive. I may want to get an Idol one day in hopes that NLS does what it's owner says it does.

The Idol is thin that´s for sure but he is allready better then the day he arrived. All 3 are better now. They arrived on the 19th of September and now with allmost a month with me they are looking better.

we don´t have NLS here in Portugal and really don´t know their products. I´m using Dainichi pellets as dry food and they love them.

Hi,

Here are some photos of the two anemones that so far are doing good - in this past 15 days I think that they already grew a little...

Yeap! That´s it.

As as far as number of fish. My tank has had at least that many for many years. Ability to export the wast is the crucial issue in water quality as I see it.

Nice looking Tank!

Thank you for your comment. Please tell me what were the specs of your tank?

I have a 300 gal. Tank. Attached to a 150 galoon sump which acts as a settling chamber and is where the skimmer is located. From there the water flows into a 75 gal refuge growing several types of Macro algae.

All your setup is bigger than mine but almost the same function. I have a 150 gal main tank with a smaller sump that also work as a settling chamber with a high performance skimmer - a Deltec AP851. My refuge is located above the main tank (with almost 25 gal and a DSB).

I assume that you once in wile symphon the settled trash in the sump.

That is correct. I siphon the bottom of my Sump about monthly. It makes a bid difference. I also noticed a huge difference by growing large amounts of macro in my sump and harvesting it regularly.

I´m growing mainly chaetomorpha in the refuge and planning to attach another refuge with DSB to the sump.

I´d been checking your gallery and your imperator was almost the same size as mine in January 2006...

Do you have a picture were we can see him now?

I sold the IMP to get a larger one. I acquired a large French Angel and the two did not get along due to the size difference. So I am currently looking for an Imperator in the 7 to 8 inch range.

That´s why I bought the imperator as the last fish!
