foxface and tuskfish warfare

World War III broke out in my tank last night. My foxface decided he didn't like my tuskfish anymore. He started at him with pulsing spines. The tuskfish gave it back biting at him. I turned the lights off. Made my stomach flip. Tank is a 90 full of rock and hiding places. I picked up Jack's 125 but it will be a while before I get it put up. I will have to remove all the rock to get the foxface out and if I did get him out he would end up with 2 triggers that are not very friendly either. I hope they are both living when I get home today....

I to do. Maybe they can get along for just a little longer until you get that 125 up and running. Keeping our fingers crossed for U. :)

Possibly look for someone with a biggish QT or something you might could keep one of them in until the bigger tank is up. Someone might could help you out...

Things have calmed down. Still a bit of rushing around but no fighting that I saw. I was hoping to put the tusk in with my clown trigger and my huma huma in the 125. I have the clown trigger in time out at the moment. When I tried them in the 90 the huma went nuts and really went after the tuskfish. Out he went. 2 days later the clown started on the tuskfish. He is now in a seperate QT. Neither one of the triggers are that big. My poor tuskfish is one tough dude. He has been attacked by 3 seperate fish in the last week and is no worse for the wear.

ebe, If you need to get him out you can place him in my tank. BUT when you want him back...YOU have to fish him out. I'd be glad to help and we don't live too far apart. I have a green wrasse about 2 inchs an Maroon Clown about 3 inches and a X-mas wrasse about 4 inches. I don't know about big your lil feller is but I'd be glad to help if I can.

Thanks, but if I have to start thinning the herd the tuskfish and the clown trigger are the last 2 to go. Even I have to end up with one fish by himself in each tank. :)
