Foxface Pair

Getting a new batch of fish next week. I want a Foxface and if possible, 2 of them. They will both be around 7cm (2.5"). Would there be any issues with a air of these? They'll have to go through QT in a 50g for 2 months with a pair of Potter's Angels and then into my 340.

Keep us posted on how this goes, if you try it. I suspect it wouldn't be a problem in a 340; the 50g QT could be dicey, though.

I love foxes, if you get them to pair, they shoud look real nice!!! I dont believe they will be a prob in a 340!! Nor should they be a prob in Qt as they are relatively small!!

How did this work out for you? I am considering adding another foxface to add some company for the one I already have.

Yep, working out well. At one point the smaller Foxface disappeared for a few weeks then reappeared mottled from stress so it caught aggro from something. It's back in the community now and the 2 generally hang out together.

Generally I wouldn't mix a fox face with another long-snout rabbitfish. I have tried it in tanks up to 13,000 gal. and they almost always fight until one is dead. Adding them at the same time should help, though, good luck.

Tank isn't really pic or video worthy at the moment. Needs a good clean.

Have a new Bernese Montain Dog puppy that is taking up *all* my free time.
